Collapsing Here. Version 4: A fold?

This piece is part of a project called 'Collapsing Here' which is a page-based image text work currently spanning 3 different print journals. It uses as source a specific site (an old nursery that used to surround a house I lived in) but explores ideas of the instability of our relationships to home, place and memory. It is an ongoing project that purposely chooses to explore ideas of place, in the virtual and widely disseminated 'places' afforded by the published page.

Versions 1, 2 & 3 have been published in print journals Performance Research, Vol.3 No.2 'On Place', Circa 86 and Coil, journal of the moving image, respectively. Versions 2 & 3 are being rewritten as web-sites, forthcoming at 'Stunned' and 'Var' on-line zines.
