anima by Tom Bell

"The piece is called 'anima' which has several definitions and references - I saw it as an energizing image with the energy coming out toward the viewer. This was done some time ago before all the "animation" tools were available. The other major issue is playing with several 'primitive' pictures of a rhino - from Lascaux; from Durer; and then from my 'primitive' scribbles. The words lead back toward a poem I wrote at the time."
